DISTINCTIVE QUALITIES: Natural, dry-aged USDA Prime Beef is the finest available American steak. Our Porterhouse steak is naturally dry-aged for 28 days of perfection. The porterhouse is often thought of as the grand-daddy of steaks. Bone-in, it contains both "favorite" beef cuts in a single steak: a New York Strip, and filet mignon. Superbly marbled and full of flavor.
BEHIND THE PRODUCT: The dry-aging process creates a robust and somewhat nutty flavor with a delicate mouthfeel. Cattle are pasture-raised and fed a vegetarian diet of grass and grain, creating desirable fat marbling. There are no added enhancers, antibiotics, or hormones.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Our porterhouse is the perfect "share" steak. Allow beef to come near room temperature before preparing. For medium-rare, season with salt and pepper to taste, then pan sear in a cast-iron skillet or grill until the internal temperature of the beef is 125ºF to 130ºF.
