DISTINCTIVE QUALITIES: Our A5 Japanese Wagyu Tomahawk Steak is the best Wagyu ribeye available. It is essentially a ribeye steak cut with at least five inches of rib bone left intact. Because the rib bone remains intact, its flavor is intense. This cut of beef makes a most impressive and elegant presentation. Its A5 rating means it is highly marbled, is tender, and moist. The cut is a bone-in rib-eye steak from the front rib of the beef.

BEHIND THE PRODUCT: The extra-long, French trimmed bone utilizes the same culinary technique that shapes a rack of lamb. “Frenching” means trimming the bone of meat and fat to the point where it looks like a handle. The A5 Japanese Miyazaki Wagyu Tomahawk with it’s intense marbling and pockets of fat, when grilled, becomes the ultimate beef flavor experience.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Usually a tomahawk cut is big and thick enough to serve 2 or more people. For medium rare, salt and pepper to taste then grill or pan sear in a cast iron skillet over high heat until an internal temperature of 130ºF.
